Silvo-pastured/grass-fed beef shares! Enjoy flavorful nutritious beef from local farmers. Our cattle are fed an all grass diet and supplemented with alfalfa and hay during the lean months. They spend the day grazing the pasture and enjoying the sunshine (or resting in the cool shade of the trees during the hot summer months).

What is Silvopasture?

Silvopasture is the deliberate management practice of integrating trees, forage, and the grazing of animals in a mutually beneficial way to improve the health of our animals, forest and ecosystem. It utilizes the principles of managed grazing and is one of the several distinct forms of agroforestry. In addition to providing our animals with more shelter, comfort, and nutrition, silvopasture is known to reduce methane emissions and help to sequester carbon making it a more environmentally friendly way of raising your meat.

•    2. Submit your form

•    3. Place a deposit (This allows us to cover the cost of feeding your animal) Note: we are not set up to accept online payments at this time. We only accept cash, check or money order.

•    4. We will send you a confirmation and Invoice

•    5. As the harvest date gets closer, we will send you the butcher's cut list so you can choose the cuts you want

•     6. Pick up your beef at the scheduled pick-up date and enjoy!
