16 years ago we happened to get a free rooster as a family pet. We knew next to nothing about were our food came from, how it was raised or the many joys of farming. From that rooster came years of learning, discovery and a change of mindset. It didn't take long for the our family to decide that our rooster was lonely and needed some girlfriends to keep him company. From there it just snow-balled...we soon had many, many more farm friends and learned all about their health and ours along the way.

Today, we still go out to feed the roosters, but many things have changed. Our family has grown and so has our farm and our hearts. Our farm is nestled in the foothills of the Cascades in Lebanon (but closer to Lacomb). We all work together, from the youngest to the oldest, growing and raising the kind of food we would want to eat ourselves (which of course we do)! We are committed to sustainability, diversity, and farming healthy food as ecologically friendly as possible.
