We are currently taking a few years break from farming to expand our education!

Thank you for your community sup
port!

Taking a break from farming? What do you mean?

Yes, for 2024 our family has decided to take a break from farming for the community in order to pursue education along different routes. We do this to finish up college degrees, take summer internships out of state, join trade schools and expand our knowledge in general!

We thank the community for all the support they have given and continue to give us!

We are still farming for ourselves and we look forward to providing for the community in the coming years!

ABOUT OUR FARM

Taste of Summer Farm is a small family farm and CSA dedicated to raising clean healthy food as nature intended, serving Lebanon, Albany, Corvallis, Lacomb and Scio areas. We have been growing in the Willamette Valley for the last 10 years and love sharing our bounty with our neighbors, friends, and communities. We are dedicated to diversity and sustainability.

All seeds that we use are non-GMO. We use open pollinated when available and especially like local, organic and heirloom variety seeds. We use natural and sustainable farming practices and never any synthetic fertilizers, pesticide, herbicides, or chemicals. We use integrated pest management, rotational grazing, natural mulches and companion planting to manage our farm as naturally and environmentally friendly as possible.

Please join us in our journey to bringing wholesome healthy food in a variety of colors to your table. Taste the flavors of the seasons as we progress throughout the year. Enjoy new and interesting varieties as well as seasonal favorites.

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way for consumers to buy local, seasonal produce directly from a farmer in their community. It is basically a farm share. A farmer offers a certain number of “shares” to the public. Local consumers buy a share into the farm – they support this year’s crop with money up front for a membership, and in exchange, each week during the growing season, they will receive a box of local, fresh, and seasonal produce directly from the farm.
